Shell Emergency Response Team Participates In Tulip Parade

Shell Refinery Emergency Response Team rallied their members, rolled their fire engines and “wowed” parade onlookers by handing out candy and mardi gras beads at the 3rd Annual Kiwanis “Not So Impromptu Tulip Parade” in the beautiful waterfront town of La Conner.  “This is just one of the several local parades the Shell employees participate in each year”, said Refinery Spokesperson and Tulip Festival Board Member, Jody Barnett.  “Our employees have a lot of fun doing this, and it’s a great way to bring attention to both the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and the town of La Conner.”
